Loyce Allen Hayes

   
    Loyce Allen Hayes, age 81, of Christian County, "crossed over to be with our Lord" on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at her residence of natural causes. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Pennington Cemetery, with Rev. Ron Hicks officiating. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
     Mrs. Hayes was born on November 27, 1939, in Christian County, KY, the daughter of the late L.G. and Ruby Lile Allen. She was a retired LPN who had worked at Western State Hospital and provided Home Health Care to a number of patients.  Loyce was a dedicated church prayer warrior and member of Henderson Memorial Baptist Church. She was also a member, with several close friends from early school days, of both the "Golden Girls" and "West Side School" local community activities. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph G. Hayes in 2003; her daughters, Lisa Hayes in 2011 and Laurie Suggs in 2020; and her brother, Wendell Allen in 2003.
      Survivors include her daughters, Judy (Donnie) Scott of Christian County, Sarita (Bob) Darby of Mountain Home, AR; Son-In-Law Terry Suggs of Clarksville, TN; her sisters, Jessie (David) Grace of Gracey, KY, Elwanda (Earl) Stevenson of Hopkinsville, KY, Brenda (Craig) Rolley of Madisonville, KY, Sister-In-Law Jeannine Allen of Hopkinsville, KY; 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
          In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Pennyroyal Hospice, Henderson Memorial Baptist Church or the giver’s favorite charity.
