Lorrie Meacham

Lorrie Meacham, age 57, of Hopkinsville, KY, formerly of Georgetown, KY, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her residence of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Jim Hunter officiating and burial to follow in Rogers Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 12:00 PM until the service hour at 2:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mrs. Meacham was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on June 27, 1964, the daughter of Linda Swatzell Rider of Hopkinsville and the late Richard L. Rider. She retired after 28 years in Quality Control for Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Kentucky. She was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her son, Matthew Lynn Meacham in 2015.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her brother, Richard “Rick” Rider and his wife Wetina of Hopkinsville; her two grandchildren, Carter and Christian Meacham of Georgetown, KY; her niece, McKenzie Pepper; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Christian County Animal Shelter.
