Lorraine Johnson of Pembroke passed away at Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN of natural causes. Private Family Burial Services will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke with Rev. Ron Hicks officiating. Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Bell County, KY, on March 4, the daughter of the late Otto Cleveland and Cordie Mae Partin Hembree. She was the owner and operator of Johnson’s Trailer Park. She was a member of the St. Elmo Homemakers. She was also a member and attended East Jelico Baptist Church and Salem Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ted R. Johnson; her daughter, Janet Kaye Johnson; her brother Claude Hembree; and her two sisters, Cleo Mae Mitchell and Leonia Stewart.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Ted E. Johnson of Pembroke and her daughter, Tina Johnson-Salcido and her husband Carlos G. Salcido of Hopkinsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Alzheimer’s Association 6100 Dutchman’s Lane Suite 401 Louisville, KY 40205.
