Laura Annette Nash

Laura Annette Nash, age 80, of Hill Haven Drive, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019, at her home of natural causes. Memorial Services will be 6:00PM Friday, September 13, 2019 at St. John United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Judge Coker officiating. Visitation will be 4:00PM – 8:00PM Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
   Mrs. Nash was born in Tippah County, Mississippi on January 16, 1939, the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Edna Bennett Hughes. She was a retired educator for Christian County Middle School. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women, History and Literature Club, Christian County Retired Teacher’s Association, Kentucky Retired Teacher’s Association, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Annette was a member of St. John United Methodist Church since 1971. In addition to her parents, her brothers, Doyle and Gerald Hughes, precede her in death.
   Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Dr. Franklin Alexander Nash Jr. of Hopkinsville; her daughter, Lara Lee Nash Campbell of Hopkinsville; her granddaughters, Ashlee and Alexandria Campbell of Hopkinsville; a nephew, Barry Hughes of Starkville, MS.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to St. John United Methodist Church at 2808 South Virginia Street Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
