Laura B Cook

Laura B. Cook, age 83, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Christian Health Center of natural causes. Graveside Services will be at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke, KY with Pastor Cliff Hines officiating. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Mrs. Cook was born June 7, 1940, in Clifty, KY, the daughter of the late Cecil and Beulah Chandler Kelly. Laura worked for IGA at Indian Hills in the meat department and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Cook, Jr.; her brother, Howard Kelly; and her sister, Rene Tucker.

She is survived by her son, Richard Charles of San Antonio, TX; her brother, Guy Kelly of White Planes, KY; her sister, Minnie Mason of Hopkinsville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
