Lawrence "Hulan" Pryor

Lawrence “Hulan” Pryor, age 86, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Flatlick Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Sunday, July 18, 2021, from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mr. Pryor was born in Trigg County, on July 25, 1934, the son of the late Lawrence Walton and Mary Wright Pryor. Hulan was a farmer and was a member of Lafayette Baptist Church. He graduated from South Christian High School. He was a board member of Kentucky Farm Bureau and Hopkinsville Elevator. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife in 2009, Wilma Dean Creamer Pryor; and his son in 2000, Jeffrey Hulan Pryor.

Survivors include his daughter, Anne Pryor East and her husband David of Hopkinsville; his sister, Violet Pryor Wooten of Hopkinsville; and his three grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth Pryor, Connor Rae East, and Simon Pryor East.
