Larry Wayne Scott

Larry Wayne Scott, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021, at Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville of natural causes. Funeral service to be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Tabernacle Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Monday, March 8, 2021. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

            Mr. Scott was born in Elkton, KY, on October 12, 1947, the son of the late George Arthur and Dorothy Irene Hill Scott. Larry was a truck driver for Watkins Express. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Ray Scott and a sister, Dorothy Jean Cansler.

            Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Kathy Sutton Scott of Hopkinsville; his son, Anthony Scott of Hopkinsville; his brothers, James Scott and his wife, Elwanda of Christian County, Randolph Scott of Nortonville, KY, Rufus Scott and his wife, Kathy of Herndon, and Thomas Scott of Hopkinsville; two grandchildren,
