Larry G. Phipps, age 70, of Crofton KY, passed away on February 7, 2021, at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 12, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Farmer officiating and burial to follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

   Mr. Phipps was born on June 23, 1950 to the late Cecil “Nuke” and Lonnie Word Phipps. Larry retired from Hutson, Inc. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Ryan Christopher Allen in 2001.

   Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Shirley White Phipps of Crofton; his sons, Christopher A. Phipps and his wife Tammy of Crofton, Shannon Allen of Richmond, KY; his daughters, Kristy D. Reddinger and her husband David of Cranberry, PA, Kelly Morris of Crofton, Tina Allen McPherson and her husband James of Lexington, KY; and seven grandchildren, John Taylor Phipps, Andrew Blake Short, Kalyn Alexis Phipps, Katie Lynn Hancock, Alexander Jeffery Short, Joshua Allen Hancock, and Layton Cole Brunson.
