   Lana Gail Baker Myers, age 78, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at her home, of natural causes, while surrounded by her loved ones. The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service on November 30, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at Living Spirit Worship Center in Kelly. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
   Mrs. Myers was born in Trigg County, KY, on August 26, 1942, the daughter of the late Rev. Raymond and Adelene Noel Baker. She was a beautician at the Friendship House for 30 years. Lana was a member of Kelly Baptist Church. She loved family gatherings, and was a wonderful cook who made spectacular desserts. She also loved to fish and ride four-wheelers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Nelson Baker.
   Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Gary Myers, Sr. of Hopkinsville; her sons, Russell Guier and his wife, Cynthia, of Thompson’s Station, TN, and Gary Wayne Myers, II, and his wife, Lisa, of Christian County; five grandchildren, Mitch Myers, Leo Guier, Amber Myers, Stephanie Harris, Brittany Poppke; seven great grandchildren, Evan Myers, Gabriel Hines, Makayla Hines, Blake Harris, Ellory Harris, Jase Poppke, Lilly Poppke; her nephew, Greg Baker; and her niece, Tessa Baker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Kelly Baptist Church.
