Lacy Leroy Thomas

               
   Lacy Leroy Thomas, age 72, of Hopkinsville, passed away on April 27, 2020, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, of natural causes. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

   Mr. Thomas was born in Trigg County, KY on 9/9/1947, the son of the late Lacy Clinton and Dannie Merle Sanders Thomas. Lacy was retired from Equipment Depo. He served in the US Army, where he did three tours in Vietnam. While in the Army he got the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Craft Crew Badge, Vietnam Services Medal and the Air Medal. He was a member of Eagleway Church of Christ and American Legion. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Danny Hale Thomas.

   Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Martha Stoneham Thomas of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Emily R. Thomas Pyle and her husband Jim of Hopkinsville; his grandson, William Thomas Pyle; his brother, Joe Thomas of Chillicothe, OH; and his sister, Virginia Stearman of Earlington, KY.
