Kyoko Estes, age 93, of Hopkinsville, passed away on July 3, 2020, at her home of natural causes. Memorial Service will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Estes was born in Hirobuchi, Japan on June 11, 1927, the daughter of the late Hitoshi Nagakada and Nofu Aizawa. She was a Seamstress at Flynn Enterprise. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death is her husband, Austin; her brothers, Masauki Aizawa and Masanao Aizawa; and her sister, Kitsuru Aizawa.
Survivors include her two sons, Tomi Estes of Hopkinsville, Austin “Bud” Estes, Jr. of Illinois; her three daughters, Naomi Baker of Hopkinsville, Mari Lafferty of Hopkinsville, Bonita Mead of California; her two brothers Mitsuru Aizawa and Katsuyuki Aizawa both of Japan; her three sisters, Reiko Aizawa, Setsuko Aizawa, and Yoko Aizawa all of Japan; her fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; and eleven great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Pennyroyal Hospice at 220 Burley Avenue Hopkinsville, KY, 42240.
