Johnny Winfield Young

Johnny Winfield Young, age 50, of Hopkinsville, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Mr. Young was born October 8, 1972, in Hopkinsville, KY, the son of Marsha Dale Burt Browning and the late Miles “Tokey” Austin Young. He worked in construction with Michael Young Construction and attended Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, Marsha Burt Browning of Hopkinsville, survivors include his wife, Lisa Fay Hodge Young of Hopkinsville; his son, Cody Young (Jessica) of Hopkinsville; his step-son, Dax Williams of Hopkinsville; his step-daughters, Teresa Hodge, Shelby Lewis, and Janea Davis all of Hopkinsville; his brother, Michael Young (Tina) of Hopkinsville; his grandsons, Easton Causey, Hudson Young, Callum Young; and his step-grandchildren, Jaxson Williams, Kyson Williams, and Justyce McGee.
