John "Sarge" Withey

John “Sarge” Withey, age 73, of Trenton, KY, passed away at 8:51 AM on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Withey was born in DuBois, Pennsylvania on May 7, 1946, the son of the late John Withey and Mary Jane Nicholson. He was a retired veteran for the U.S. Military. He was a lifetime member and state officer of the VFW. He was also a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, and by his sister.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Freda F. Withey of Trenton, KY; his one son and one step son; his two daughters and one step daughter; his sister; his seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
