Jay Ashley Pugh

Jay Ashley Pugh, age 63, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Casky Baptist Church with Bro. Jesse Brown officiating and burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Casky Baptist Church. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mr. Pugh was born in Nashville, TN, on January 5, 1958, the son of Cornelia McCain Pugh of Hopkinsville and the late William Pugh. He was a Quality Assurance Health and Safety Manager for the 160th SOAR at Fort Campbell, KY. He was a member and deacon at Casky Baptist Church. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. In addition to his dad, he is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Pugh.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 29 years, Cheri Smith Pugh of Hopkinsville; his son Brett Pugh of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Darby Pulley and her husband Josh of Clarksville, TN; his sister, Debra Mitchell and her husband Mike of Camden, TN; and his granddaughter, Parker Pulley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his memory to the family at Casky Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
