James Taylor Killebrew, age 88, of Hopkinsville, passed away on July 10, 2020, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. The family has chosen a private graveside service to be held at a later date in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Killebrew was born on February 7, 1932, in Weakley County, TN. The son of the late, J.C. and Lucille Whitlach Killebrew. He was a social worker in the state of Michigan, and was of the Baptist faith. James was also very active in the Genealogical Society, a member of John Manire Chapter, and a member of the KY Sons of the American Revolution. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death is his sister, Norma Freeman.
Survivors include his daughter, Kathryn KIllebrew; and his adopted family, Carlos Duran and his wife Leticia Sanchez.
