Herbert Lee Dazey

               
               
   Herbert Lee Dazey, age 75, of Mark Drive in Hopkinsville, KY, passed away at 2:38 PM on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Private Services will be at a later date at Green Hill Memorial Gardens Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
   Mr. Dazey was born in Sheridan, Wyoming, on August 27, 1943, to the late Ralph Marvin Dazey and Eurie Lena Timm Dazey. He was a retired electrician for the TVA. Herbert was a veteran in the US Army. He attended New Work Fellowship and was a member of Western Hill Golf Course and he was in the electrical Union. His son, Jeff Smith; his grandson, Anthony; three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
   Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Betty Smith Dazey; his son, Derek Dazey of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Sherrie Stagner and her husband, Ronnie of Lebanon, TN; his brother, Bud Dazey and his wife, Ramona of Washington, DC; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild and a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Nashville Rescue Mission or St. Jude Children Hospital.
