Helen Lucille Paden Rose, age 90, of South Main Street in Pembroke, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee after a short illness.
Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Bob Wint at 3 PM Saturday at Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke with burial to follow officiated by Pastor Jim McConnell at Rosedale Cemetery, Pembroke. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 PM - 3 PM prior to the service.
Mrs. Rose was born in Kokomo, Indiana, on February 6, 1928, to the late Harry Dewitt Paden and Addie Ethel King Paden. She and her late husband of 50 years, Dr. Robert Rose and sons Bob and Steve moved to Pembroke in 1957 from Dallas, Texas. She was a member of the Hopkinsville Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by her husband and also brothers Donald, Harold and Billy Paden and sisters Margaret Cox and Dorothy Drabik.
Survivors include her sister Joyce Paden Wadsworth and husband Ken of Berrien Springs, MI; three sons Bob Rose, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Hendersonville, TN, Steve Rose, Sr. and his wife Doreen of Springfield, TN, Gary Rose, Sr. of Pembroke; one daughter Debbie Rose Olson Peck Bird and her husband Tony of Hopkinsville; 10 grandchildren Melissa Rose, MD, Rob Rose III, Cara Rose Litchfield, Steve Allen Rose, Jr, Brent Rose, Jr., Kim Rose Adcock, Joey Olson Jr., Heather Olson, Brandon Olson, Leslie Peck; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
