Harry Clark Waldrop, age 92, of Pembroke, passed away on September 12, 2022, at The Neighborhood of Hopkinsville of natural causes. Graveside services will be held at Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 10:00 AM with Jerry Cover officiating and burial to follow. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Waldrop was born in Pembroke, KY on October 3, 1929, the son of the late Thomas Isaac and Pearl Tabor Waldrop. He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Pembroke Church of Christ. Harry proudly served his country in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Ilene “Estelle” Oatts Waldrop; his brothers, Preston Waldrop, Sr., John Waldrop, Sr.; his sister, Erline Pace; and his niece, Judy Townsend.
Survivors include his nephews, Fagan Pace, Jr., of Oak Grove, Brian Oatts of Hopkinsville, Johnny Waldrop of Pembroke, Preston Waldrop, Jr. of Augusta, GA; his nieces, Mona Bolinger of Pembroke, Faye Poppens of Owensboro, Judy Thomas of Hopkinsville, Charlotte Cover of Brentwood, TN, Sharon Halls of Columbia, TN, Laura Page of Charlotte, TN, Lisa Brooks of Erin, TN; several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.
