Harold E. Rose, age 88, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Christian Health Care of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Rose was born in Corbin, KY, on June 15, 1933, the son of the late Vestle and Susie Morgan Rose. Harold retired as a newspaper pressroom foreman for the Kentucky New Era. He was of the Protestant Faith. He was a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Junior Rose.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Helen Rose of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Gina Baker and her husband Rick of Panama City, FL; his son, Bryan Hardiman and his wife Lisa of Bloomington, IN; and three grandchildren, Timothy Poe, Ian Hardiman, and Keeley Hardiman.
