Gordon Thomas Rager

Gordon Thomas Rager, age 76, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Mitchell and Brother Bill Humphreys officiating and burial to follow in New Barren Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mr. Rager was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on October 19, 1944, the son of the late Jesse and Kathryn Craft Rager. Gordon was a retired Auto Insurance Adjuster and Owner of Rager Body Shop. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, and Youth Leader.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Donna Lacy Rager of Hopkinsville; his two sons, Brannon Rager and his wife Rachel of Hopkinsville, Randy Rager and his wife Kristal of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Jill Minnehan and her husband Jason of Woodlawn, TN; his brother, Jimmy Rager of Hopkinsville; his three grandchildren, Gavin Minnehan, Noah Rager, and Bryce Minnehan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Shiloh Baptist Church.
