Ginger R. Audas Scott

Ginger R. Audas Scott, age 53, of Hopkinsville, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Mr. Billy Stamps, Mr. Bryan Dill and Mr. Phil Dunn officiating with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Scott was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on September 20, 1966, the daughter of Joyce C. Burgess Audas and the late Denny H. Audas. Ginger started with Kentucky Finance in her early teens and worked 20 plus years in the finance industry, and she was three weeks and one semester away from achieving her Bachelor’s degree in social work. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ and also attended Kings Chapel Fellowswhip in Cadiz.

In addition to her mother, Joyce Audas of Hopkinsville; survivors include her husband of 16 years, Troy (Squid) Scott of Hopkinsville; her daughters, Kelsey Schamp and her husband, Alan of Hopkinsville, Roxanne Smith and her husband, Spencer of Hopkinsville, and Tala Scott of the home; her brother, Joey Audas of Princeton; her maternal grandmother, Rozell Burgess of Cerulean; and five grandchildren, Cullen Wade Lamb-Schamp, Trevor Michael Smith, Gauge Alan Schamp, Ali Faye Schamp, and Dylan Wade Smith.

   In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions, can be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society and Christian County Relay for Life at 952 Fairview Avenue, Suite 4, Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101.
