   Garnett Eugene Higgins, Sr., age 74, of Hopkinsville KY, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020, at Bradford Heights Health &Rehab of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
   Mr. Higgins was born in Knox, IN, on March 21, 1946, the son of the late Lacy and Meda Montgomery Higgins. Garnett was a veteran in the US Army. He worked for a moving company and was of the Church of Christ Faith. He loved fishing and his family. In addition to her parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sara Jo Parrot Higgins; his sons, Garnett Eugen Higgins, Jr, and Johnny Higgins; his daughters, Kathy Jo Higgins and Christian Higgins; his brother, Douglas Higgins; his sister, Shirley Higgins Hale.
   Survivors include his brother, Gary Higgins of Texas; and a special friend, Charlotte Lee of Hopkinsville.
