Frances Marie Gafford

Frances Marie Gafford , age 97, of Hopkinsville passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019, at Covington Convalescence Center. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, August 30, 2019, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, Hopkinsville.

Mrs. Gafford was born in Stewart County, TN on August 14, 1922, the daughter of the late Graham Morrow and Josephine Knight Morrow.  She was an employee at the Coca-Cola Company for ten years. Frances was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for over 75 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years; Ernest Gafford.

Survivors include her two daughters; Glenda Frederick and her husband Larry of Florida, Wanda Vermeer and her husband John of Arkansas, her brother; Willard Morrow of Hopkinsville, her 3 sisters; Reva Smith of Ohio, Jane Fleming of Hopkinsville, Janice Fleming and her husband Jim of Hopkinsville. Survivors also include her six grandchildren and her 13 great grandchildren.
