Dotsie M. McCown, age 86, of Pembroke, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Princeton Nursing and Rehab of natural causes. Private Graveside Services will be at Green Family Cemetery in Dover, TN with Pastor Rick Stevens officiating. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mrs. McCown was born in Dover, TN, on December 11, 1934, the daughter of the late Waymon and Elvie Dennis Wallace. Dotsie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved to sing, crochet, knit, quilt and sew. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Pembroke, KY and the Order of the Eastern Star, Ft. Campbell, KY. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, SFC Floyd T. McCown (retired), her son, Michael O. Davis, her grandson, Jonathan McCown, and her sisters, Martine Page and JoAnn Eubanks.

Survivors include her son, Gregory (Sandie) McCown, Cedar Hill, TN; her daughters, Sheryl (Lanny) Boyd of Hopkinsville, KY and Lanita (Joe) Wilson, Hopkinsville, KY; her brothers, Douglas (Patti) Knight of Clarksville, TN and Robert Hershel (Paula) Knight of Punta Gorda, FL; twelve grandchildren, Christopher (Melissa) Williams of Newstead, KY; David (Jessica) Boyd of Hopkinsville, KY; Erin Boyd, of Knoxville, TN; Elora McCown (Tyler Tidwell) of Clarksville, TN; Kiefer (Cheyenne) McCown of Adams, TN; Crystal (Travis) Winchester of Springfield, TN; Caleb Ballard of Oak Grove, KY; Jacob Ballard of Oak Grove, KY; Lucas Ballard of Hopkinsville, KY; Kayleigh Wilson (Clay Colley) of Hopkinsville, KY; Malori Wilson of Hopkinsville, KY; Frankie Rae Davis of Chapmansboro, TN; and 11 great-grandchildren.
