Dorothy “Dot” Webb, age 90, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Dunn and Rev. Jerry Crunk officiating and burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Webb was born in Detroit, Michigan, on November 15, 1930, the daughter of the late George Sylvan Hale and Kathleen Haskings Hale. Dot was a Teachers Aid for over 25 years at Hopkinsville High School. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lee Webb in 2019, her brothers, Joe Hale and Frank Hale; and her sister, Barbara Curd.
Survivors include her son, Larry Earl Webb and his wife Niki of Prospect, KY; her daughter, Vicki Dianne Champion of Hopkinsville; her brother, Jerry Hale and his wife Jean of Mayfield, KY; four grandchildren, Garrett Webb and his wife Melanie, Olivia Webb, Ethan Champion and his wife Erika and Collin Champion; and her two great grandchildren, Griffin Webb and Everly Champion.
