Donald Tyrone Snead

               
            
            
   Donald “Tyrone” Snead, age 75 of Hopkinsville, KY passed away 1:30 AM November 30, 2017 at Bradford Heights Health & Rehab of natural causes. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Noon, Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gray Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mr. Snead was born June 29, 1942 in Christian County, KY; the son of the late Benjamin and Cleo Lancaster Snead. Tyrone was a 1960 graduate from CCHS and a 1965 graduate from APSU. He was a teacher and coach for Lacy Elementary School. He also worked at Cayce Yost Seed and was a truck driver. Tyrone was a member of Kelly Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Snead; and his sister, Beverly Snead Piatt.
   He is survived by his son, Donnie Snead and his wife, Pam of Hopkinsville, KY; his daughters, Amy Snead of Nashville, TN, and Kristie Thomas and her husband, Mike of Lexington, KY; his sister, Mrs. William L. (Martha Snead) Spurlin of Hopkinsville, KY; his brother-in-law, Ronald D. Piatt of Hopkinsville, KY; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
