Donald Jesse Newlon

Donald “DJ” Newlon, age 43, of Greeley, Colorado formerly of Clarksburg, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at his home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mr. Newlon was born in Morgantown, West Virginia, on July 5, 1978, the son of Shirley Jean Ogden Newlon of Hopkinsville and the late Jesse David Newlon. He worked as a laborer and was of the Methodist Faith. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lee Newlon.

   In addition to his mother, Shirley Jean Ogden Newlon of Hopkinsville, KY; survivors include his son, Donald “JJ” Jesse Newlon Jr. of Colorado; his brothers, Jesse David Newlon Jr. of Pennsylvania, and Louis Levi Newlon of Florida; his sisters, Robin Newlon Lane of Ohio, Mary Margaret Newlon Bohac, Charlotte Jean Newlon Wilhelm of Hopkinsville, Pamela Newlon Lee of West Virginia, and Stephanie Newlon Chung; his step-sons, Kyle and Sam Miner both of Colorado; his step grandchildren, Blue Haven Adams, and Gemini Miner.
