Dewayne "Elvis" Jay Dowdy

Dewayne “Elvis” Jay Dowdy, age 55, of Hopkinsville passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, at his home of natural causes. Services will be at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, KY is in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Dowdy was born in Christian County, KY on May 10, 1962, to the late Elmer Jay and Florene Wilkins Dowdy. He was a patient aide at Western State Hospital. He is of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his daughters, Tiffany Dowdy and Tabatha Shemwell both of Hopkinsville; his brother, Larry Dowdy of Arizona, his, sister, Gail Darlene Hale of Hopkinsville; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Jaydah, and Averi Shemwell.
