David Eugene Howard

David Eugene Howard, age 74, of Christian County, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Graveside Funeral Services, with full military honors, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery-West. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Monday, August 2, 2021, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mr. Howard was born in Owensboro KY on September 26, 1946, the son of the late Frank Nicholas Howard and Mary Edith Gaston. He was an Air Force Master Sergeant with over 25 years of service. He was also a firefighter and EMT for over 21 years. David was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove.

   Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Margaret Howard of Pembroke, KY; his sons, William Howard, Joseph Howard both of Pembroke, KY, Christopher Howard and his wife Rioann of Lake Villa IL; his daughter, Mary “Kathy” Kabelis and her husband Thomas of Kenosha, WI; his niece, Sandra Anna Smialek of Illinois; and his five grandchildren.
