Christopher J. Schwab

Christopher J. Schwab, age 46, of Hopkinsville passed away February 12, 2021, at Baptist Health in Madisonville of natural causes. Graveside Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Riverside Cemetery with burial to follow. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Mr. Schwab was born September 28, 1974, in Hopkinsville, the son of the late Suzanne Litchfield Schwab Rettberg. Christopher was a factory worker and handyman. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Doris H. Litchfield.

Survivors include his sister, Jennifer Rettberg Hack and her husband Victor of Elizabethtown, KY; his maternal grandfather, Keith Litchfield of Hopkinsville; his stepfather, Ken Rettberg of Hopkinsville; his aunt, Kim Litchfield Cooley and her husband Chris of Hopkinsville; his cousins, Nicolette K. Baines and her husband Tyler of Louisville, KY, and James C. “Chip” Cooley Jr. of Hopkinsville.
