Cheryl Harris

Cheryl B. Harris age 66, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at St. Thomas-West in Nashville, TN of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Burgess Family Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mrs. Harris was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on September 20, 1955, the daughter of the late Dewey Earl Burgess and Elizabeth Ann Blandford Burgess Robinson. Cheryl was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family, going to church, and shopping. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Dana Michelle Harris, in 1973, and her twin brother and sister, Timothy and Kimberly Gayle Burgess in 1968.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, David Harris of Hopkinsville; her sons, Jason Harris and his wife Lisa, of Guthrie, Shane Harris and his wife Jamie, of Hopkinsville, and Dylan Blake Harris of Hopkinsville, Chad Harris, of Alabama; her daughters, Chelsie Elizabeth Beard and her husband Scott, of Hopkinsville, and Catelyn Grace Anne Strader and her husband Dustin, of Madisonville; her eight grandchildren, Jacob Harris, Hillary Harris, Shannon Harris, Jessie Harris, Eli Beard, Aria Beard, Asher Harris and Carson Lee; her three great-grandchildren, Addison Harris, Bailey Brown, and Sage Daughtery.
