Cherie Denise Colley

Cherie Denise Colley, age 64, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville of natural causes. Joint Celebration of Life Service for Samuel “Randy” Colley, age 66, of Hopkinsville, who passed on December 10, 2020, and Funeral Services for his wife Cherie Denise Colley will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Grace officiating and burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 22 2021. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mrs. Colley was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on October 11, 1956, the daughter of the late William Bill and Patsy Jean Ledford Kennedy. Cherie was a retired Registered Nurse from the Western State Hospital. She was a member of First Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Samuel “Randy” Colley in 2020 and her son Nicholas Randolph Colley in 2017.

Survivors include her daughter, Lynsa Elizabeth Colley of Hopkinsville; her brother, James M. Kennedy and his wife Susan of Lexington, KY, and her grandson, Taylen Irvin.
