Charles "Chuck" Murphy

Charles “Chuck" Murphy, age 54, of Herndon, KY, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, at his significant others home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 17, 2021. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Chuck was born on September 4, 1966, the son of Bonnie Unfried Murphy and the late Charles Perry Murphy. He was the Plant Operations Director for over 20 years at Cumberland Hall. He was of a member at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Adam Murphy.

In addition to his mother, Bonnie Unfried Murphy of Eddyville, KY; survivors include his son, Preston Murphy and his wife Brenden of Herndon, KY; his daughter, Montana Mae Murphy of Florida; his significant other, Lisa Thomas of Hopkinsville; his brother, Johnny Murphy of Oregon; his sister, Rosie Thomas and her husband Troy of Cadiz, KY; and his six grandchildren, Ada Murphy, Briar Thomas, Elizabeth Sanderson, Beau Dixon, Kensie Dixon, and Sadie Dixon.
