Carolyn Jordan Thorpe

Carolyn Jordan Thorpe, age 70, of Hopkinsville, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, October 4, 2019, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Noffsinger officiating and burial to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.

Ms. Thorpe was born in Todd County, KY, on August 28, 1949, the daughter of the late William Chester and Mildred Rager Jordan. She was retired from the State of Kentucky where she had many different jobs and jobs titles over the years. She also was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Lee Rager in 1996, and Joe Jordan in 2015; her sister, Joyce Ann Jordan in 2000.

Survivors include her daughters, Natalie Thorpe Lyle of Hopkinsville, Stephanie Jones of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren, Kaitlin Thorpe, Jordan Harper, Carrie Jones, Erin Lyle; and six great grandchildren, Colin Harper, Julian Harper, Hayden Lyle, Silas Hallenbeck, Brayelle Morris, and Sofia Lopez.
