Carol Marie Wells, age 66, of Frog Hop Road in Hopkinsville, passed away at 12:45 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Graveside Services will be at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Bell Chapel Cemetery in Trenton with Rev. Larry Chapman officiating and burial to follow in Bell Chapel Cemetery in Trenton. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Carol was born in Hondo, TX, on May 28, 1951, to the late Alex M. and Margaret Lee Davis Haby. She was a member of Emberry Church in Todd County. She worked for a number of years at Flynn Enterprises. She also worked as an operator at TGASK and a driver at PACS. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers, Billy Haby, Lawrence Haby, and Ricky Haby.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Johnny Wells of Hopkinsville; two sons, Ean Haby and Christian Wells both of Hopkinsville; one daughter, Stacey Whitaker and husband Micah of Troy, Maine; six brothers, Joe Haby and wife Nita of Clarksville, Arkansas, David Haby of Texas, Doug Haby of Hopkinsville, Johnny Haby of Elkton, KY, James Haby and wife Tina of Temple, TX, Adam Haby and wife Ruth of Hopkinsville; six sisters, Catherine Meador of Clarksville, Arkansas, Patty Henry and husband Lloyd of Huntsville, AL, Martha Zornow and husband Howard of Boerne, TX, Theresa Clark and husband Tony of Hopkinsville, Rita Mitchell and husband Larry of Kirkmansville, KY, Cindy Marshall and husband Gary of Kirkmansville, KY; five grandchildren Alexia Whitaker, Aiden Whitaker, Kiyen Whitaker, Chantelle Haby, and Toby Haby.
