Billy G. Hale, age 80, of Cerulean, passed away on July 24, 2020, at Covington Nursing Home. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on July 28, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Ryan Scott with burial to follow at Bainbridge Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour on July 28, 2020, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mr. Hale was born in Cerulean, KY, on May 12, 1940, the son of the late Herman and Pansy Rennison Hale. Billy was a lifelong farmer. He worked many years at Hopkinsville Clothing and C&F Stamping. Billy was a member of the Western Kentucky Walking & Racking Horse Association and the Western Kentucky Grand Circuit. Billy loved supporting his grandchildren at local horse shows and shared his loved of animals with them. He was also a lifelong member of Bainbridge Grove Baptist Church. Billy also loved singing and playing music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gaylon and Clayton Eugene Hale.
Survivors include his sons, Johnny Hale and his wife Stacey of Cerulean and Tim Hale and his wife Tammy of Cerulean; his daughter, Angelia “Angie” Allen and her husband Carl of Hopkinsville; his brother, James “Jimmy Hale and his wife Vonda of Hopkinsville; his sisters, Lucille Poe of Hopkinsville and Dorothy Mae Hensley and her husband Jay of Princeton; three grandchildren, Travis Craft and his wife Tiffany of Crofton, Brittany Goodwin and her husband Shane of Cerulean and Jodi Miller of Orlando, FL; and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the Bainbridge Grove Building Fund at 12633 Princeton Road Cerulean, KY 42215.
