Billy Wayne Crick, age 83, of Hopkinsville, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 Noon Friday, November 8, 2019 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Crick officiating and burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mr. Crick was born in Greenville, KY on August 18, 1936, the son of the late Buster and Rosie McIntosh Crick. Billy was a driver and mechanic for Howard Morris Trucking Co. for more than 30 years. He was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Nobel Crick, Elwood Crick, and L.D. Crick; and his sister, Dorothy Drake.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jewel Dean McGar Crick; his four sons, Curtis Crick and his wife Karen of Hopkinsville, Dennis Crick and his wife Wendy of Cerulean, Danny Crick and his wife Janet of Hopkinsville, Chris Crick and his wife Kelly of Hopkinsville; his sisters, Edna Chandler of Greenville, Thelma Brooks and her husband Milford of Greenville, Minnie Gibson of Greenville, and Dona Vincent; his ten grandchildren, Eric Hillyard, Shaun Crick, Ryan Mason, Justin Crick, DJ Crick, Clint Crick, Dylan Crick, Kyle Hester, Bailey Crick, Cassie Crick; eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
