Billy Ray Cottrell

Billy Ray Cottrell, age 42, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
   Billy Ray was born in Christian County, KY, on October 13, 1976, to Bell Moore Gasik of Hopkinsville. He was a CNA at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Cumberland Hall, Bradford Heights and Wal-Mart. He was a Boy Scouts and also a 1995 graduate of Christian County High School. He is preceded in death by his dad, Charles “Chuck Gasik in 2017.
   Survivors include his mother, Bell Cottrell Gasik of Hopkinsville; his brother, Mark Wayne Cottrell of the home.
   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the Mansfield Animal Hospital at 710 N. Main St. Hopkinsville 42240.
