Barbara Louise Moody

               
            
Barbara Wolk Moody, age 81, of Millbrooke Drive, Hopkinsville, passed away Monday, October 02, 2017, at her home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Croom officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 5, 2017, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Moody was born in Choteau, Montana, on December 11, 1935, to the late Bernard and Gunhild Lindseth Wolk. She was a secretary for the Hopkinsville Fire Department. Barbara was a charter member of the Christian County Rescue Team for over thirty years and the React CB Club. She was of the Lutheran Faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, of 57 years, Robert “Bob” Moody in 2016; her brothers, Harold and Roy Wolk.

Survivors include her son, Robert Moody of Nashville, TN, her daughter, Sheryl Fox and her husband, Jerry of Hopkinsville, her grandchildren, Christa Cooksey, Kimberly Wilhelm and her husband Clay, and David Fox and his wife, Kayla.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Christian County Rescue Teams at P.O. Box 392 Hopkinsville, KY 42241.
