Barbara Jean Hattenbach

Barbara Hattenbach, age 75, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Christian Health Center of natural cause. Memorial services will be 6:00 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Bufford officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
   Ms. Hattenbach was born in Waco, Texas, on January 14, 1944, to the late Ira and Dessie Johnson Vaughn. She was retired from Citizen’s Sate Bank as a loan review officer. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Proud supporter and member of the Rotary Club in Sommerville, TX. She loved watching birds from her back porch. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Vaughn.
   Survivors include her son, Leonard Stavena and his, wife, Heather of Cerulean; her daughter, Christi Stephenson and her husband, Cody of Cadiz; her sister, Martha Anderson of Huffman, TX; for grandchildren, Hayden Ferguson, Kayden Rector, Amanda Slater, and Richard Stavena.
   Memorial Contributions can be made in her honor to The American Diabetes’s Society.
