Audrey Ward Boggess

Audrey Ward Boggess, age 86, of Hopkinsville, passed away 11:45 PM, Monday, December 28, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation and will have a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 PM Noon on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM on until the service time at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Boggess was born August 20, 1934 in Hucknall, England the daughter of the late John Alfred and Ida Irene Ward. She was a manager at the Shepherd’s Shop Christian Book Store. She was of the Baptist faith and very active in the youth ministry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Denis Ward, Chris Ward; and her sister Barbara Severn.
Survivors include her son, Anthony Boggess and his wife Holly of Hopkinsville; her brother, Robert Ward and his wife Diane of England; two grandchildren, Jennifer Winders and Nicholas Boggess; and seven great grandchildren.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to The Foundry at 1419 Clinton St. Nashville, TN 37203.
