Arnold M. "Buck" Gilkey

   Arnold M. “Buck” Gilkey, age 83 of Mifflinburg, PA formerly of Hopkinsville passed away 9:24 AM on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Riverwoods Assisted Living in Mifflinburg of natural causes. Private Family Graveside Services will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
   Buck was born in Kansas City on June 18, 1935, to the late Western Earnest and Tylene C. Charles Gilkey. He served in the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of Pleasant Green United Methodist Church in Hopkinsville and attended New Hope Bible Church in Mifflinburg, PA. He worked in the funeral service for Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home and Henninger Funeral Home and after his career in the funeral service; he worked in retail at various stores. He was a member of New Berlin American Legion, Post 957, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Masons since 1953.
   Survivors include his wife, Dorothy J. Zechman Gilkey of Mifflinburg, PA; one son, Michael A. Gilkey of Mifflinburg, PA; two grandsons; one great grandson; three sister in laws; two brother in laws; and numerous nieces and nephews.
