Antonio Barragan

Antonio Barragan, age 30, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY, of natural causes. Local Funeral Services will be at 4:00 PM on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to be in Mexico at a later date. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until the service hour at 4:00 PM on Friday, May 7, 2021. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the local arrangements.

Antonio was born in San Pedro Mixtepec, Oaxaca Mexico, on November 21, 1990, the son of Niseforo Barragan Altamirano and Norberta Santos Torres. He was of the Catholic Faith and worked as a construction worker and mechanic.

Survivors include his parents Niseforo Barragan Altamirano and Norberta Santos Torres both of Mexico; his two brothers, Alexis Fernando Barragan Santos of Mexico, and Eduardo Barragan Santos of Clarksville, TN; his uncle, Julian Santos and his wife Amanda Ortiz of Hopkinsville; and his cousin, Leticia Torres Salinas and her husband Raul Rivera Jose of Hopkinsville.
