Annette Everett Mathis

Annette Everett Mathis, age 81, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at her residence of natural causes. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with Dr. Joe Bufford officiating and burial to follow. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Mrs. Mathis was born in Hickman, KY, on August 19, 1939, the daughter of the late Jess Willard Everett and Leone Cole Luter. Annette was a retired Department Head for Wal-Mart. She also was a Mary Kay Consultant for over 40 years. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Sydney Everett, Charlie Everett, Richard Everett; and her sister, Sandra Everett.

Survivors include her two sons, Kenneth Barry Mathis and his wife Maureen of Bartlett, IL, John-Jo Mathis of Adams, TN; her daughter, Delethia Nuckols of Hopkinsville; her brother, James Everett of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; her three sisters, Lavada Everett Mansfield and her husband James of Bartlett, IL, Swan Everett Bowers and her husband Ronald of Hickman, KY, Mary Everett Reed of Martin, TN; her eight grandchildren, her twelve great grandchildren, and her one great great grandchild.
