Anna Mae Cole, age 87 of Pembroke-Oak Grove Road passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at her home of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Pembroke Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Studie officiating. Private family burial to follow at a later date. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Pembroke Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cole was born September 23, 1931 in Graveston, TN, the daughter of the late Herman Benjamin and Sallie Mae Wolfe Bolinger. She earned her Masters of Library Science at Peabody College and Vanderbilt University. Anna Mae was a librarian at Fort Campbell. She was a member of Pembroke Baptist Church and was a member of the West Fork Homemakers and Pembroke Baptist Church Women’s Missionary Union. In addition to her parents, her husband of 37 years, Ralph Edward “Bud” Cole and her brothers, Roy Bolinger, Eugene Bolinger; her sister, Frances Smith preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Ralph Edward Cole, Jr. of Pembroke, KY, Charles Herman and his wife Catherine Cole of Star Valley Ranch, WY; her daughters, Sherry Lynn and her husband Charley Peck of Weatherford, TX, Patricia Susan McGee and her husband George of Pembroke, KY; her grandchildren, Preston Peck and his wife Abbey, Morgan Peck Gregory and her husband Trey, Kristian McGee Lee and her husband Ronnie, Alexandra McGee, Olivia McGee, Kyle Gauthier and his wife Lindsey, Ralph Edward “Buddy” Cole III and his wife Makayla, Jesse Cole, Charleigh Cole, Jordan Cole; her great grandchildren, Gunnar Gauthier, Kylee Gauthier, Hayden Gauthier, Tayln Gauthier, Kyndall Gauthier, and Isla Lee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Gideon’s International.
