Ann Susan Poe, age 74 of Spain Lane passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at her home of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Maddux-Fuqua Hinton Funeral Home with Pastor David Harrison officiating with burial to follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation hours will be from 4-8 PM, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Maddux Fuqua Hinton Funeral Home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ann Poe was born January 21, 1945 in Trinidad, the daughter of the Mickey and the late Inez Cozier Schecht. She worked at IGA Bakery, Holiday School Cafeteria and Max Fuel. Ann was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and Pennyrile Classic Car Club. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Goodman.
Survivors include her husband; Al Poe of Hopkinsville, KY; her sons, Tommy (Karen) Kenady and Jackie Poe, both of Hopkinsville, KY; her daughters, Tammy Groom of Hopkinsville, KY; Tracey Wilford of Clarksville, TN; and Melissa Oden of Hopkinsville, KY; her sisters, Sharon Young and Ronda Emmons, both of Florida and Michelle Fazio, of New Jersey; ten grandchildren, Jeremy (Halley) Wells, Devin Henry, Zack (Sara) Kenady, Nathan (Lexie) Kenady, Ben Wilford, Olivia Groom, Kevin Poe, Shane Poe, Tyler Poe, and Lindsie Oden; great grandchildren, Cora Leigh Wells and Angelina Jacqueline (AJ) Plaia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Pennyroyal Hospice, 220 Burley Ave., Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
