Amanda Gail Ortiz

Amanda Gail Ortiz, age 39, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at her home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. 

Amanda was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on October 7, 1981, the daughter of the late John Eugene and Alma Lucille Hudspeth Combs. Amanda was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jason Eugene Combs Jr.

Survivors include her fiancé, Honorio Santos of Hopkinsville; her son, Ethan Honorio Santos of the home; her daughters, Tana Banchan of New Albany, IN, and Alexcia Ortiz of Mexico; her grandmother, Janie L Hudspeth of Hopkinsville; her aunts, Tracy Cooksey and her husband Tim of Hopkinsville, Donna Crick and her husband Troy of Elizabethtown, and Marilyn Marshall of Hopkinsville; and her uncle, Troy Hudspeth, Sr. and his wife Maria of Hopkinsville.
