Melissa “Missy” Hancock Grubbs, age 50, of Hopkinsville passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at her home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home
Missy was born September 24, 1967 in Hopkinsville, KY the daughter of Glenn William and Mary Irene Bivins Hancock. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Teresa Harris, Kimberly Hancock; and Fiancé David Neathery.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her son, Francis Adam Kirby Jr. of Louisville; her daughters, Ashley Kirby Williams, of Gracey, Samantha Cruz of Hopkinsville, and Sarah Heflin and her husband, Logan of Hopkinsville; her brother, Stephen Hancock of Hopkinsville; her sisters, Janice Knight of Hopkinsville, and Karen Cantrell of Hopkinsville, fifteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
