Mae B. Mason, age 89, of Bond Road, Pembroke, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at her home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke with Rev. Terry Kisler and Rachael Ganther officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 23, 2017, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Maddux Funeral Home in Pembroke.
Mrs. Mason was born in Christian County on July 24 1928, to the late Billie and Mary Frances Wakefield Bond. She was a homemaker and retired from the Christian County School System. Mae was a member of Pembroke Christian Church and the Jolly Canton Homemakers Club. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Earl Lawrence Mason in 1996, and her brother Claude “Bill” Wallace Bond.
Survivors include her two daughters, Judy Stokes and her husband Wayne of Pembroke, Janice Stringfield and her husband Gary of Pembroke; two sisters Margaret Moss and her husband James of Hopkinsville, Linda Joiner and her husband Daniel of Pembroke; two granddaughters, Julie Folz and Sarah Dunaway; and three great grandsons, Thomas A. Folz, Andrew Folz, and Layne Dunaway.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Pembroke Christian Church at 111 Jackson Street in Pembroke, KY 42266 or a charity of your choice.
