Leslie Scott

Leslie “Les” Scott Sr. age 70, of West 7th Street in Hopkinsville, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. Memorial Services will be at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, KY is in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Scott was born in Christian County, KY, on March 7, 1947, to the late William Mitchell and Mary Kate Gentry Scott. He was the owner of Leslie Scott Painting. Les was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Teddy “Billy”, James, Bobby and Alfred Scott; his sisters, Wanda Davis, Alice Adcock, Joyce Brown, Mardell Francis, and Elizabeth Henderson.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Virginia “Ginger” Barton Scott of Hopkinsville; his sons, Les Scott Jr. and his wife, Ronda of Hopkinsville, and Johnny and his wife, Carolyn of Princeton, KY; his daughter, Josie Bledsoe and her husband, Jerry of Hopkinsville; his brother, Joseph Scott of Hopkinsville; his sisters, Betty Jean Craft of Hopkinsville, Katie Mae Sager of Cadiz, KY; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
